Logo Design for Wildlife and Community Together Tasmania
The community group ‘Wildlife and Community Together Tasmania’ enquired about a last minute logo design that they could use for some TV campaigns that were in the making. The tricky part was to squeeze a lot of features into one design: an image of a Brush-tail Possum, a road (to associate with the high roadkill numbers in Tasmania), the words ‘CARE, CHECK, CALL’ (inspired by a t-shirt design by Wombat Rescue Tasmania and also the group name.
» Reference photo of an orphaned Brush-tail Possum from one of the local wildlife carers
» Black & white colours only as there is already a lot of information in the logo
» Layout similar to the Wombat Rescue Tasmania logo
» Playful font to complement the cute image of the animal and induce a feeling of vulnerability

“I have known Susie for over ten years and she has never failed to impress me with her creativity, work ethic, reliability and professionalism. So she was the obvious choice to go to when I needed a logo for our wildlife community group.
Susie will listen, ask the right questions and return with the exact thing you had in mind – or actually better. The highest possible recommendation for her.“
