A creative mind from Europe, now living & designing in rural Tasmania.
An eye for design
Hi! I’m Susie, a creative mind from Europe who is now living and creating web sites, graphic designs and photo content in the beautiful island state Tasmania (Australia).
I’ve always loved to be creative. And I’ve always been the black sheep. To swim against the stream was what I did naturally. After I finished my apprenticeship at a city marketing agency, I left home to work as a surf instructor, travelling the world and paying for my travels by selling clothes I designed. While I was on the road, I studied Sport & Tourism Management.
When I was ready to settle, I moved to Tasmania (the other side of the world for me). Here, my partner and I started a purpose driven tourism business, which gave me the chance to get the creative juices flowing again. I just loved the whole design process from the logo and interior design of our shop to our merchandise, brochures and website.
We knew that the website would be our main selling tool, so it had to be a crazy good one. Our biggest competitor happened to be the most successful tourism operator in the state, so not an easy task. Long story short, WE DID IT! A few years on and we ranked in the top 10% of tourism operators world wide. This is how I discovered my love for web & graphic design and I have since helped a number of other small businesses with their design & content needs.

In my free time, I raise orphaned wildlife. If you trust me with your project, you’ll give me the chance to keep working from home and to arrange my work hours around bottle feeding times and cleaning of enclosures.
